Awesome store have been going here for years, done the Canning stock route using a map from here and am now planning to hike the Cape to Cape using maps and books from here. Love the place

Was chasing maps of the Canning Stick route and Gibb River road. The lady serving me was very known and they had the maps I was after.

A few issues with supply but really helpful with alternatives and then going beyond expectations. Not many shops like this. I recommend and thank Pally for her efforts. Photo of my favourite map for a laugh, Blackstone road NT, this is hand painted on a car bonnet, beautiful.

So grateful for this amazing store and staff. Every year I pop in and buy the best Xmas gifts at my leisure. Today was a different story. I ran in 5 minutes before closing and begged for help for a Secret Santa present. I would’ve expected disgruntled staff to apologise and shuffle me out the door anywhere else, but not here. Mrs C&M Shop was patient and helpful. I walked out with the perfect gift, having had a relaxed experience after a frenetic day. Bless your cotton socks. I truly appreciate the old school service from one of my favourite stores. This just confirms why I keep going back. Well, that and the gorgeous gift wrapping that always impresses those receiving a gift purchased at the Chart and Map Shop. I’ll be back in Saturday to continue my Chrissie shopping with time to browse and enjoy.

My favourite shop in Freo. So many interesting books that you wouldn't really find elsewhere. Staff are always friendly and haven't given me a bad recommendation on what to read. They also go the extra mile to accommodate requests. Definitely worth dropping in if you're passing through - great to support these local businesses that make Freo unique!
